Volkswagen Camper T2 (Buy online)
At Rapidfit we manufacture our own T2 Camper looms to the exact year requirement. We offer these as ex stock items and try where ever possible to always carry stock, normally re stocking is less than a week.
All our looms are complete including Battery leads, fuse and relays, NOTHING requires adding.
The standard loom is modular with a rear / engine loom, front loom and dash loom. The loom is branched and labelled in accordance with the van requirement, all branches are contained within tubing.
- Front Loom: contains the lights,indicators, horn etc connected at the front by the dash with a 6 way connector, front loom is fully terminated and finished in loom tape
- Rear Loom: contains lights,indicators etc together with an engine loom which includes battery, starter, all engine wires. Also in this loom is an additional reverse and fog light. The loom is connected to the dash with a 4 way connector (lights) and 11 way connector (engine) , branches require terminating
- Dash Loom: includes Blade fuse box (with fuses) and relays together with the dash connector which allows the dash to be wired up away from the vehicle. The fuse box branch is made long enough to allow fitting within any reasonable area within the front, this is because many people like to locate the fuse box in a different position. This looms carries the mating connectors fully connected for the front and rear. Dash loom is fully terminated and electrically tested
The loom is "modernised" with thin wall cable, contained within automotive convoluted tubing, built to BS colour spec and comes complete with comprehensive build details, which also includes plugging details for switches, wire colour matrix comparing new loom and VW colours, and detailed loom drawing and routing.
We also produce T2 specials to meet all the additional items you wish to add, these can be additions to the standard loom or complete bespoke loom.
Bespoke looms are made to order and you will need to discuss your requirement with us, in many cases we will visit to discuss in detail your exact needs and identify what switches dials you are using, this leads to many customers letting us have the complete dash which allows us to make up the dash loom specific for the camper.
Also available to the same standard as T2 looms are Beetle and Transporter looms, these are not stock items and again you will need to discuss your requirement with us.
